Q: Where is your business located? 

A: Anchor Math is an international online tutoring business. We focus mainly on students in Dubai and Hong Kong. However, we can tutor students in any country as long as the time difference are taken into account.

Q: How much are your classes? 

A: Prices depend on student's grade level. All prices can be found at the "Book Online" tab above. There are discounts available for packages.

Q: What type of payment is accepted? 

A: Any major credit cards are accepted. Full list available under "Terms & Conditions".

Q: How do I book a class? 

A: The "Book Online" tab will take you to the main booking page and calendar where you can book single classes. There are also options for packages and current courses.

Q: How long is each tutor session? 

A: Sessions are 1 hour each. 5 minutes buffer time is included in this time.

Q: Are group sessions available? 

A: Currently we only offer one-to-one sessions. Groups session are only available for courses (e.g. Summer)

Q: How many tutors do you have? 

A: Anchor Math has one permanent tutor and a couple of part-time tutors during busy seasons.

Q: How does the online tutoring work? 

A: We use a combination of Google Meet and Explain Everything which gives students the opportunity to interact with a shared online whiteboard. A demonstration will be given during the initial consultation.

Q: What is your cancellation policy? 

A: We have a free cancellation within 24 hours of the lesson to reschedule at another time. The full policy is available in the "Terms & Conditions" under the "Book Online" tab.

Q: What courses are offered? 

A: Lessons are personalized and can cover any Mathematical topic in MYP or DP. There are also sessions focussed on the MYP Criteria and the Internal Assessment.
